Abstract Musical Murrini in Flight
I explore the relationships between various color harmonies and surface textures within my art. In the visual perspective, utilizing these patterns to present the natural elements in my images allows the multiple patterns and colors to be viewable within the symmetrical designs that ultimately are created. The abstract method being utilized also allows the beauty and the reactive elements of the glass to be shown in an alternative fashion. Glass stringer and murrini onto flat glass, all fused in studio kilns so glass is all one piece.
